In this post, i would like to introduce you to this new hair products that i have been using, besides sunsilk haha. Sample store sent me a NEW range of products from Essential!

For helping you to understand what Essential is about, here it is!

Essential is a popular haircare brand from Japan. By understanding the needs of singaporean girls and their hair woes, Essential has a wide range of products to help repair and care for our hair. Essential offers products ranging from basic care like shampoo and conditioner to more intensive treatments such as hair masks and leave on serum or even lotions!

And this October, Essential relaunches with brand new packaging, improved formula and a new variant! 

Essential is now available in 4 variants to suit our hair needs and types.

-Nourishing Breakage Defense - For weak and damaged hair (Orange)

-Moisturing Frizz Free - For dull and rough hair (Pink)

-Light Finish Volumizing - For flat and limpy hair (Yellow)

-Deep Cleansing Care -  For oily and dry ends (Blue)

And out of these 4 variants, 2 of them, both yellow and blue variants have technology that caters to people with combination hair like me! Oily scalp and dry hair.

So now you must be thinking of how to choose which colour fits your hair! And  to help you, you need to consider these 2 questions.

1. Do you have an oily Scalp?

2. Do you have damaged and dry ends?

Okayy, so i have done the quiz, and found out that my hair is suitable for the blue colour range!

Been using it ever since i received the products, although not as sweet smelling as sunsilk, IT definitely helps in maintaining my dry ends! I am also the kind of person who doesnt like to use conditioner and i am amazed at what the conditioner can do to my hair! Because i have super long hair, (it reaches almost to my butt haha) it is so hard to maintain. Oh boy am i thankful to Essential for helping me maintain my hair.

I don't wash my hair daily. Its not a very good thing to wash your hair daily do you know? Hahaha, unless you sweat alot and stuff, then you better go and wash your hair.

And besides receiving the blue range of shampoo and conditioner, i also received another hair mask and hair treatment, yayy! haha.

Essential Hair Shampoo. One of the better smelling shampoo haha!

Essential Hair Conditioner. Although it doesnt have like a really nice smell, but it keeps my hair free from tangles! Or rather less tangles than usual.

Essential Hair Mask. Confession, i have never used a hair mask before. However, this hair mask, ALSO keeps my hair super manageable and moisturized!

Essential Hair Treatment. This hair treatment has been improved so that it will be able to work its magic on your hair when you just leave it there after shampooing your hair for 30seconds! I mean like, usually conditioner you need to leave for like a minute or 2? This treatment? 30seconds is enough with leaving nice and moisturized hair!

And just a note, you should never ever ever apply conditioner, hair mask or even treatment to your scalp area! It will result in your scalp area being VERY oily.
