Hi everyone! Really sorry for the super duper long time to post this post (its like a week after the celebration already lo.) Have been really busy with stuffs and tests and school and homeworks!
So now, to talk about NDP celebration that happened in school~
The day started off wet with rain! Therefore, there was no morning assembly! Everyone stayed in class and waited for announcement to us to move to the hall for the celebration!
YESSS, and by 8am, we were all seated in the hall waiting for the whole programme to start!
Celebration started off with our principal's speech and followed by another teacher's speech, but i cant seem to remember who hehehehe, but thats not important!
AND THE PERFORMANCES BEGAN!
Started off with NCC Land!
Next up was girl guides!
And Boys Brigade!
THEN TO RED CROSS!!!
And the last uniform group to perform was NCC Air!
Can you believe it? That was the end of the national day celebration already! Because the next programme was hari raya celebration!
And the first group was of course our very own malay dance group!
Then to a song sessions with some teachers and students!
Whatever, im too lazy to elaborate on what happened because im lazy like that and psssss, i cant really remember what happened><
The programme ended really badly (as of how i feel)
They played the NDP song for this year, One Singapore, i think there was some technical faults as the song was played till halfway and CUT! over.. Both my NDP mate and i were like dancing crazily to the song~ Woahh Woah Oh (x2). And yes, we were surprised that the music cut! and it played twice, and cut also at the middle!
And the most horrible thing is that, they actually invited the whole team of performers to go up on stage to so called sing the song? And everyone on the stage was like just basically holding their flags and swaying from side to side! (At least do the chorus movements la!) And... the atmosphere wasnt there at all. It was like supposed to be really hyped up and lively as well but it just feels like nothing at all, all quiet but the song (with exception of my friend Mun Kitt and i singing and dancing along!)
Like seriously? The kind of atmosphere i get from all the NDP shows, be it NE shows or even the preview, the audience usually sing and dance along! And the atmosphere is really great.
I feel that the song would be like really nice to hear when the atmosphere is there because when the school wasnt like hyper and singing along, not sure how to explain but... it just SPOILS it okay? hahaha, just like that..
But the best part is when the uniform groups used the SUPER HUGE, and i mean really HUGE party poppers and POPPPPP at the students, super awesome!

anddd~ so thats how the celebration ended!

Next part of my post is about my first ever trip to seoul garden!
And in case you do not know what they contain, here it is! There are also drinks, ice cream and make your own ice kachang!
It costs around like $17++ for the meal(Inclusive of GST and service fee? I think) And thats for the student price!
This is the price chart! :D
I ate until like really really full and my stomach felt like bursting!

AND HOW COULD YOU FORGET THE ICE CREAM! My self designed ice cream with toppings!
The best part of Seoul garden has to be BBQing the chicken, i really like terriyanki chicken cause its like seriously dam awesome. For all those people out there who hasnt tried! I would recommend you to really go and try it out. Make sure to eat alot!! $17 might be quite affordable but~ you cant be just like going there for ice cream and eat nothing else right? If thats the case, maybe.... you should go to an ice cream shop and get it (CHEAPER SOMEMORE)
After this awesome meal, i of course went to my house in malaysia! :D Will update you all on my trip there in my next post!^^
