The Comb SG

Hey guys,

After many months of my horrible looking black hair roots, i have decided to return and dye my hair once again, this time, in a lighter shade.

Im really glad that The Comb Hair Salon has kindly sponsored me with my new hair colour as well as highlights! 

Basically, The Comb Hair Salon is a leading Korean style salon that specializes in perming, cutting, colouring as well as styling that has it's outlet near Telok Ayer (Downtown Line) not far from town in 10 Gemmil Lane.

The Comb Hair Salon gives me the feel of being in a really cute and stylish homely place.

I had a wedding to attend in Church thus, i asked for the earliest timing which is 10am. When I arrived, i was warmly greeted by they staff and they asked if i wanted a drink before my stylist came in.

I got a senior hair stylist from The Comb, Bella, who has at least 10 years of experience, 7 years in Korea and 3 years so far in Singapore.

I was asked to choose my hair colour and at that point in time, i really had no idea what colour i wanted, thus i just asked for a lighter shade and told Bella to do what she deems fit for my hair :D And i had shade 8 for the overall colour and shade 12 for my highlights.

Since my hair was really really really long, she chopped of around 3 to 4 inches of my hair since it was really dry and always tangles.

2hours passed and i could finally wash the dye off my hair. I am amazed by their stylist in the way that they help to massage and wash my hair, i would totally die for the massage. I actually fell asleep which was rather a waste i feel.

I had to do my highlights another day since i was rushing for time. Bella did put a little highlights on my hair but i wasnt really satisfied, so i got another appointment with them again to do purely the highlights, and they were also very welcoming to do my hair once again :D Of course i came back to their salon and once again greeted with a warm welcome and i really just feel that there service is really good, so i would rate their service 5/5!

So i did my highlights, and Bella suggested that i can do a gradient effect and it looks real good! Many Many thumbs up. And i got another hair wash which was still really shiok to the point where i feel asleep again :/

Summing everything up, i am really amazed by the hospitality that they showed me and i would totally recommend them to all you girls out there who prefers to go for a Korean look to go to them!

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel

Im sure that i did mention in my previous post that i am a fan of Biore products.

Did you guys know that applying sunscreen should always be essential when you wake up after washing up. It keeps your face moisturised and also protected from the Sun Rays. It always helps to delay the wrinkles that everyone will get in the later part of life and it too, prevents premature ageing.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Gel, unlike other normal sunscreens, is not greasy upon application on the face, gentle and light on the skin as well which i feel is good for my skin, and yes it smells good as well.

Basically, what i do is that i squeeze out a little of the watery gel from the bottle to my index finger and start to apply it on my face then spread it over my whole face for equal application throughout my face. Sunscreen can be used a face primer before putting on makeup, especially for girls.

Feeling fresh to meet the sun when i get out of my house.

Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover

Hey guys, I haven't been very active on my blogging platform due super packed schedules and being just so busy in life. But anyways, im sorry for being hiatus once again.

 

And right now, i am back with some rally good some for you girls our there. Since the last time i tried the Biore Micellar Cleanser Water and I absolutely love it to the point that I am now a biore fan haha.

 

Right now, they have introduced a new and improved formulae for their Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover which is a lot better then the previous one :D

 

I don't really put on much makeup nowadays, mostly just drawing my brows whenever I leave my house, however, for certain days when i feel like concealing my dark eye circles and add on foundation, its when makeup removers come to usage.

 

Trust me, leaving your makeup on for the whole night is not good for your skin as it clogs up your pores and in worse cases, they give you PIMPLES (in which most of us fear a lot, don't you girls?) Which is why I always remove my makeup after long days.

 

 

Introducing the IMPROVED Biore Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover.

 

I am usually a very lazy person, so when I run out of cotton pads, I wait till I pass by convenience shops first before I get new packets of them, and meanwhile, I use my sister's one haha. Which is why, this Aqua Jelly Makeup Remover is perfect for me since it does not need any cotton pads.

 

 

Basically, after removing the bottle from the package, i just remove this plastic looking thing that's holds the pump from accidentally 'pumping' out the makeup remover.

 

 

Then, pump around 2-3 times of the makeup remover on your hands and what i do is to rub them together like this!

 

 

Followed by massaging the makeup remover on my face to remove at least 98% of ALL my makeup.

 

And viola!

 

 

After washing my face. i get my clean and bare face!

 

Whats best about the makeup remover is that it is not oily on my face, not greasy or rather. VERY moisturizing since my skin is always so dry :/

 

Anyways, just by mentioning here on my blog does not allow you to try it out. So perhaps you may get the FULL bottle just like mine in supermarkets, hypermarkets, beauty stores, departmental store and perhaps a few convenience stores for just $24.90!

 

And before I forget, before removing your eye makeup, ALWAYS REMOVE YOUR CONTACT LENS if you are wearing, do close your eyes when you are massaging as well or it will irritate your eyes.
