Longest Inflatable Slide in SG? The WOOSH at Downtown East

Yo guise!

Recently, i was invited by SampleStore to try out the longest inflatable slide in Singapore. Boy, i was so excited to bring my friends over to try out the slide and of course have fun together!

Currently located at Wild Wild Wet in Pasir Ris, the inflatable slide is open until 31st July 2017 which makes it a little more than a month to try the slide out before it goes awayyyyy.

What makes it even better would definitely be the 1 for 1 entry into the waterpark. In order to be eligible for the promotion, all you have to do is to dressed in identical outfits. Be it swimwear or the outfits that you guys wear for the entry. 

After registration, would love to thank SampleStore for taking our health in consideration such that they offered us sunscreen for face and body, water for hydration, waterproof cases for our phones and more. 

Also a little refreshment to start our day right!

All of the guest who attended the event at Wild Wild Wet were involved in the setting of the Singapore's book of record of most number of people in pairs who dressed identically.

Personally, I'm not a fan of adrenaline rushes, which makes my life super boring especially when my friends are people who love taking exciting rides whether it is in theme parks or water parks. 

The only rides i am willing to ride are those kiddish rides haha, so when i went over to Wild Wild Wet, i only took the thrill rides, Woosh and ULar-Lah together with my friends. It is such a pity that i do not have guts to try out the more exciting rides such as free fall and torpedo. At least my friends enjoyed it :D

Moving on to the WOOSH, honestly speaking, the ride wasn't what i expected it to be (exciting, you know), considering the fact that it was supposed to be the longest slide, i thought it would be a fast ride. Was a little nervous before the ride, but once i sat on it, felt a little disappointed as the amount of water that was used to push us down to the bottom was very little. Therefore, it just feels like sitting on a slide of a bouncing castle. The slide was also felt like 10m of slope followed by 40m of straight lane.

Even so, i can proudly say that i have taken the longest slide in SG, and that makes it worth it to try out!

Took my boyfriend and friends over to have fun together, because what is having fun alone when you can have your friends with you!

Bangkok 2016

Time passed so quickly i would say.

2 months have passed since i went to Bangkok with my annoying travel buddy. Presenting Serene -

It was my third time travelling there and honestly speaking, I don't think i would ever get bored of Bangkok.

The shopping, food heaven.. (Im making myself drool as i mention about this)

This very trip was planned about 4 weeks before travelling, something that i specialise in, IMPROMPTU. Many of my friends would describe me as extremely spontaneous. It might be something good or something bad to another. For example, i may call you and ask if you are free, followed by telling you to meet in an hour's time. Haha.

Back to my trip. Though i may have planned it 4weeks before hand, you may be shocked to know that I've only spent $298 for both flights to and fro and 5nights hotel stay in pratunam area.

This time round to Bangkok, i decided to make a simple vlog thou i would like to first make a disclaimer that I'm a noob at this kind of editing video stuff. I tried to make a video previously and because i didnt know how to cut, combine or even fast forward a clip. So, don't be harsh at this video below.

Basically we flew with AirAsia, spent our days shopping non stop in pratunam (yes we woke up almost daily in the morning just to shop at their morning market) platinum mall, chatuchak and even my first time to Talad Rod Fai, couldn't find it during my previous trip in Bkk.

Met up with her cousin who also stayed with us for a few nights thou she was staying in another hotel just right opposite us, and then shopping together.

My best buy of the trip that is not clothes would definitely be these pair of sunglasses inspired from SNAPCHAT filter ><

The 6days together flew by in a blink of an eye, the nights spent there watching animated Mr bean series, bingeing on the egg omelette sold at our hotel downstairs, all the takeaways. I miss it.

How could i miss a selfie taken there? Hahaha.

Tricked my friends with the fake septum piercing that made me look like a bull, made my nose itch like no other. But its alright, 20baht (80cents)for fun sounds reasonable.

The saddest part of my trip, back to SG.

Update.

Its been quite some time since I last wrote.

I've been trying to wonder why. Was it because i am too busy with my school life or have I gotten lazy? Been feeling exhausted recently and perhaps its due to attachment, mondays to fridays were filled with attachment being AM or PM shift, saturdays are filled with NDP rehearsals and sunday being my rest days, often have stuff going on.

Etc : Attended the gala premiere of 'At Cafe 6', a new movie that is coming out on 14july which is this thurday!

Taken during my first NE show where these whole bunch of people and i went to usher Roysth school to stadium for NDP.

Been caught up with loads of stuff, events, school. And i wish to still find time to rest and just chill. Its just the first day of school for the term and its horrifying to know that next week is the commencement of class tests already. With that being horrifying, whats worse is the presentation that i have this friday, not to mention next week as well. It just seems like time is not enough for me to finish up whatever I have in plan.

Some of you might have known that i was hospitalized. Basically, i was diagnosed with Gastroenteritis (Inflammation of the stomach and intestines), vomiting and diarrhoea seems to be the most frequent thing that i was doing. And as you can see from all these vomiting and diarrhoea, of course i got severely dehydrated. And thats not the worse, my whole body was weak to the point that i couldn't stand up by myself without the risk to fall down again. My legs just couldn't hold the weight of my body at all.

As i was in school, my teachers felt that i really needed to go to the hospital for treatment due to the fact that my blood pressure was going really low and my heart rate went to about 200 which is really high and abnormal.

Yes, I was admitted that very day as i had to be on drips. As it was a friday, i am very honoured that my bunch of classmates/really good friends cabbed over to the hospital straight after class ended. They wanted to tag along to the hospital when the ambulance arrived by due to the test we had and lessons, they had no choice but to stay in school. I can't ask for better friends like them. 

I was in the hospital for 5 days, although the doctors felt that i needed to stay longer as my body was still really weak when i left, some of my friends were really kind to come and visit me a couple of times during my time in the hospital, bringing me food thou i was Nil By Mouth. When i could finally eat, yall brought even more stuff for me to eat :D. Very much appreciated, and you guys know who you are.

Of course i had to have a photo during my stay in the hospital.

I also treated my stay in the hospital as an experience as many of you might know that i am a student nurse. With this stay in the hospital, i get to experience what my patients are experiencing during their stay in the hospital thus i was able to relate to them. The countless amount of fluids that are pumped into me, not being able to eat for so many days, countless needles pricks for blood tests and to insert the intravenous cannula for the drips.

The hospital stay was real boring due to the fact that i was under such heavy fluids and my body was too weak to move around the hospital, so 24/7 of my time was spent on this very bed unless im out for procedures or toilet. Boy was i glad to finally get out after 5 days.

In total, i missed about 2 weeks of school for the term due to MCs and hospitalization leave, so you can see im struggling so badly with my studies by trying to catch up on the stuff that i have missed out. In poly, missing one lessons is equivalent to mission a whole lecture worth of topic, and that is ALOT, making me even busier than before as i have to spend extra time to study.

And yea, back to reality, back to school. 

This is just kind of a little update on my life to tell y'all that im not dead yet haha. Perhaps i should share with you guys on my trip to Paris a couple of weeks back, but i'll have to see if time permits due to the fact that as i am writing this post, im falling asleep, thats how tired i am.

Hey guys,

After another long hiatus on my blog, since i havent been blogging much like during these time due to my busy schedule as well as lazyiness.

Im back with a review for my very first eyelash extension.

Basically, i went to research on where should i do my eyelash extension for my overseas trips as some of you might know that i have just returned from my family trip to Langkawi and i am going to be travelling to Bangkok with my friends!

After a few days of research, i finally decided on Vain Beauty as quite a few of my friends have recommended this place such that their eyelash was able to last quite some time, and the quality that i was looking in my eyelash extension has got to be long lasting, natural yet visible on camera and of course affordable.

I supposedly booked my appointment on 9 oct but last minute change to 6 oct and they were fine with it, which was great. 

I walked into the salon with an adequate amount of knowledge i have gotten from the internet, but realise that almost no one mentioned was their eyelash able to last and all.

The boss attended to me but was busy at that point in time, so she got another lady to attend to me, she had close to 4 years of experience in this field, so i trust my eyelash to her.

Basically the whole process was rather fine for me since it was my first time, i felt absolutely nothing when she attached the lashes to my own natural lashes, the only thing that was bother me was the tape that i had on my under eye which got my eyes quite sore as i was also wearing contact lenses. Otherwise, it was quite good! Waited for the glue to dry and viola! I had great looking lashes.

For the first day, i couldnt get use to seeing myself with the eyelash extensions becuase i felt that i looked weird and a great point is that i didnt feel the lashes there which was great. However after awhile, i fell in love with the lashes, yes i did. It enhanced the look of my eyes and made me look awesome haha. 

As i really wanted my lashes to last longer, i took care of my lashes. It has been 4 days and my lashes has a few strands that dropped off but most of them are still intact and looked beautiful, my conclusion right now is that it can last pretty well as considering the fact that i was in the sea and pool during my trip, i would definitely recommend Vain Beauty for their eyelash extensions.

Besides eyelash extensions, they also do your brows, mani and pedicures, hair extension services. I did my eyelash in C curl, lash by lash and 8-10mm lashes. I opt for the higher quality lashes which costed me $68 and pretty afforable.
